Why Adopt from Bury’s Stray Cats Fund?
For nearly 50 years, we have been dedicated to caring for and rehoming cats and kittens in need.
We provide cats with warmth, care and love while they are with us, and every day we work as hard as we can to get these cats into the loving home that they deserve.
Every time a Bury’s Stray Cat Fund cat is adopted, it supports our mission: to reduce the number of stray and homeless cats, and ensure every cat has a chance at a safe, loving future. When you open your home to a rescue cat, you do more than save a life – you transform it.

Come and meet our cats – Come in to meet your potential new family member.
Take your new cat home – If you decide to take one of our cats home, we will complete all the paperwork, finalise the adoption and provide support as you transition your cat or kitten to their new home.

Vet-checked and vaccinated
Spayed or neutered
and Microchipped
Our team also gets to know each cat’s personality, quirks, and needs and we’ll do our best to help find a cat that’s purrfect for you!

cat & kitten adoption fees
One cat – £80
Two cats – £120
Three cats – £160
One kitten – £100
Two kittens – £150
Three kittens – £200
+ Annual Sanctuary Membership fee £20
Cats on our foster scheme* = £50
Farm cats = Minimum donation £20 per cat
*Our foster cats are those that are aged 12+ or a cat of any age that has a lifelong condition that requires medication. We support fosterers with these costs but expect them to pay for regular costs such as vaccinations and flea & worming treatment.
