Why Adopt from Bury’s Stray Cats Fund?
For nearly 50 years, we have been dedicated to caring for and rehoming cats and kittens in need.
We provide cats with warmth, care and love while they are with us, and every day we work as hard as we can to get these cats into the loving home that they deserve.
Every time a Bury’s Stray Cat Fund cat is adopted, it supports our mission: to reduce the number of stray and homeless cats, and ensure every cat has a chance at a safe, loving future. When you open your home to a rescue cat, you do more than save a life – you transform it.
How to Adopt a Cat from us

Fill out an application – Application forms are on the meet the cats page.
Come and meet our cats – Come in to meet your potential new family member.
Take your new cat home – If you decide to take one of our cats home, we will complete all the paperwork, finalise the adoption and provide support as you transition your cat or kitten to their new home.
Please note that we only rehome to permanent UK residents only.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
All our cats are:
Vet-checked and vaccinated
Spayed or neutered*
and Microchipped
Our team also gets to know each cat’s personality, quirks, and needs and we’ll do our best to help find a cat that’s purrfect for you!
*Kittens under 20 weeks will not be neutered/spayed.

One cat – £100
Two cats – £140
Three cats – £180
One kitten – £120
Two kittens – £170
Three kittens – £220
Prices include an Annual Sanctuary Membership fee of £20
Farm cats = Minimum donation £20 per cat
